Clinic Reference Guide
All practices are sent a Clinic Reference Guide (CRG) prior to close. The CRG is meant to act as a resource to help them navigate their first few months of partnership and throughout the partnership. It contains information about AmeriVet, Operations, HR, Finance/Payroll, our systems and processes, our preferred vendors, and so much more.
As we grow and improve, there may be changes to information in this guide. Ensure you verify with your Operations leader if you have a question about a process covered in the CRG.

AmeriVet PLIT
We’re excited to share that there’s a brand new PLIT (Professional Liability Insurance) resource site created specifically for AmeriVet DVMs and field leaders. It’s live now, and it’s much more user-friendly, with easier access to the tools and info you might need.
🔗 Here’s the new link: https://dvm.avmaplit.com/amerivet/
This new site replaces the old one, which will be sunset at the end of April — so now’s a good time to bookmark the new link and start exploring.
Why this matters for you:
- You can easily download your Certificate of Insurance (COI)
- You can submit your own PLIT claim directly
- It’s a helpful reminder that AmeriVet already covers your PLIT, so there’s no need to carry or get reimbursed for a separate personal policy
You’ll also find resources like:
- How-to guides
- Newsletters and safety updates
- Contact info for your dedicated Trust Veterinarian
- And more
You can also access your COI in Workday anytime under: Personal > Documents > PLIT COI
